Cemetery Blessing

The 2020 traditional Memorial Day Service was cancelled due to the CovID-19 Virus.  We Sisters are celebrating our 100th Anniversary this year so it was fitting that we gathered at the Crypt of our Foundress, Mother Macrina Melnychuk, and sang the Panachida service for the deceased.  It was celebrated by our Chaplain, Reverend Jerome Botsko. At the end of this Byzantine Catholic Prayer Service, Fr. Jerome first blessed the Sisters' gravesites and then proceeded to bless all those interred throughout Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.  The Vets from the Hopwood Post 103 were missed.  May God grant us all good health, peace, and the Lord's healing power during this affliction.
