Memorial Day Services 2024
MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE SCHEDULE 2024

Memorial Day Services will be held on Monday, May 27th at 10:30 am at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.  The main celebrant will be Metropolitan Archbishop William Skurla, along with Reverend Jerome Botsko, Chaplain to the Sisters of St. Basil at Mt. St. Macrina.  The Prayer Service, the Panachida,  is a traditional Byzantine Catholic Service in memory of all our deceased.

The local AMVETS 103 will pay tribute by their attendance as honor guard, in procession, taps, and military salute.

On Memorial Day we remember, and pray for all our loved ones buried in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.  We particularly remember and honor all those who have served our country, most nobly in all branches of the military.  Let us never forget their sacrifices and heroism, some to the point of giving their very lives.  We live in freedom today because of their bravery and love of country.

PLEASE NOTE;  In the event of light rain, the Prayer Service will take place in the Mausoleum Chapel at 10:30 am.  Should severe weather occur such as heavy rain, thunderstorms, the Service will be canceled.
