We, the Sisters of St. Basil the Great, through our ministry at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery,

seek to carry out the sacred religious function of burying the dead

and of caring for the resting places of our deceased.

We are dedicated to the respectful care of the people of God who, even in death, 

remain part of the whole Christian community.

We proclaim through our prayers, words, and example the sacredness

of the human body, the belief in the resurrection, and the Christian virtue of hope.
